Now renowned as one of the most professional CNC screw machine manufacturers, LICO first introduced their CNC products here in the United States in 1990 by opening its own manufacturing operations in Texas.

LICO’s Texas plant produced various specialty parts for the U.S. automotive industry. In 1996, LICO introduced the LNTS series. This series comes with 3 or 4 multi-slides and an 8 position turret allowing for overlapping of up to 5 tools at one time. The LNTS series is also offered in a 3 turret model for extensive backworking and a Y-axis model equipped with a Y-axis gang tooled cross slide for both static and live tools.
In 2005, LICO – one of the best CNC screw machine manufacturers – developed the LNC-D 12-position screw machine with live tools, sub-spindle, Y axis, and automatic bar feeding. Five years later in 2010, LICO introduced the LND series CNC multi-axis mill/turn centers with 4 spindle sizes, two 2-axis cross slides around the main spindle, 8 position 2-axis VDI 30 turret and a fully independent counter spindle.
The LICO LNDD Series
The machines in the LICO LNDD series are extremely productive. These twin spindle multi-slide mill/turn centers are equipped with a ton of advanced features including overlapping slides that enhance productivity and lead to excellent size control. They come in 4 spindle sizes: 51 mm, 65 mm, 80 mm, and 100 mm.
Outfitted with live tooling on the turret (up to 16 live tools) the LICO LND series machines change from turning center into a machine that can handle cross drilling, tapping, slotting, and basic milling. With Y-axis on the live turret you have a double spindle turning and milling machine (both C-axis capable) with the capability of overlapping five (5) tools at once (3 cross slides and 2 turrets).
The LICO LNTS Series
The 12-axis multi-slide CNC screw machines in the LICO LNTS series are designed for ruggedness. Their slides are equipped with a full 2-axis servo-controlled travel, making them suitable for form tool use. In addition they can match the speed of cam machines for medium to complex parts. But that’s not all.
The LICO LNTS, with 3 or 4 multi-axis slides and an 8-position turret, can overlap up to five (5) tools at once. Each main turret position accepts VDI-30 live tooling with four (4) live tool holders and Mitsubishi M830 CNC control being standard. With spindle sizes ranging from 36mm (1.4″) to 65mm (2.55″), these machines cover a wide range of applications.
